Chris Heron is the Secretary General of AVERE (the European Association of E-Mobility), a position he will have held since September 2024. AVERE represents Europe's united e-mobility ecosystem towards EU policymakers, including vehicles, charging , supply chain, services, and national associations. Chris has thirteen years of experience working in the EU's electric vehicle supply chain, starting his career in the battery industry before leading the public affairs programme of Europe's metals association.
