
Marie-Elisabeth d'Ornano is Global Technical Service Director for Bureau Veritas Product Technology, where she leads global technical service strategy across electrical, electronics, and related product evaluation and certification activities.
She is actively engaged in international standardization and conformity assessment governance. In France, she is a member of the French Electrotechnical Committee Board and sits on the Board of AFNOR (the French National Standards Body). At European level, she serves as President of ETICS, the European Electrical Products Certification Association. Within the IEC, she is the French Member of the IEC Conformity Assessment Board (CAB) and convenor of IECQ Working Group 14 on the Green Approach. She also heads the French delegation for IECEE, IECEx, and IECRE.
Prior to her current role, Mrs d'Ornano spent 20 years with LCIE Bureau Veritas in various positions related to electronics and electrotechnical product evaluation and certification
She holds an engineering degree from ENSEEIHT (1997), a Master's in Innovation and Technology Management from Paris Dauphine University (1998), and an Executive Certificate in Corporate Governance from ESSEC (2022).
