General terms and conditions

The registration for the conference must be done online through the conference website. The registration becomes valid after the receipt of the participation fee.

The registration fee for 1-day (450 eur) includes participation exclusively in the program of the given day with coffee breaks, lunch and participation in the networking party after the professional program of the day.

The registration fee for 2 days (800 eur) includes participation in the programme of both days with coffee breaks, lunch and participation in the networking parties after the professional programs of the conferences on both days.

The payment should be done by bank transfer. Cheques and credit cards are not accepted. After the registration, you will receive an automated official confirmation email from the Organisers. After the receipt of the participation fee, you will receive the advance payment invoice via email and after the event, you will receive the final invoice also in email. Registration is possible until the event, subject to capacity.

Discounted tickets are available for the partners of the event, the discount can be claimed at checkout, for further instructions please consult the partner. Discounts can be claimed for both types of tickets (either 1-day or 2 days tickets).

We accept a substitute nominated by the registered participants. The nomination of a substitute must be made in written form until 4 November 2024 and it is free of charge. Substitutions are only permitted between delegates from the same organisation.

The Hungarian Battery Week will be organised as an in-person event. However, in case the conference can only be organised without an audience due to unforeseen consequences of the global pandemic situation tickets purchased earlier can be changed for online tickets and the difference shall be reimbursed by the Organisers. Optionally the purchased ticket can be used at a future conference organized by White Paper Consulting or the Hungarian Battery Alliance. Cancellation of the registration is possible at any time but no refund of the participation fee will be paid.

In the case of non-attendance, no refund of the participation fee will be paid.

If the conference is cancelled by the organizers, the whole fee will be refunded. Further claims for compensation are excluded.

In exceptional cases the organizers of the conference reserve the right to change speakers, the venue or the scheduled program.

With registration, you accept that during the conference photographs and video records will be taken that could include recognizable images or voices of those in attendance. 

By registration, you consent to our data management policy in view of which we are authorized to send you newsletters about the Hungarian Battery Week and other conferences organized by White Paper Consulting or the Hungarian Battery Alliance. Our data management meets the requirements of the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data. 

The Hungarian Battery Association, as the Data Controller, aims to ensure that personal data managed within the framework of the HUNGARIAN BATTERY Week (hereinafter referred to as the Event) program series is handled, stored, and recorded in accordance with Act CXII of 2011 on the right to informational self-determination and freedom of information (hereinafter referred to as the Info Act), the legal basis for the processing of personal data concerning the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation, hereinafter referred to as GDPR), as well as the applicable data protection provisions of current legislation.

The Data Controller’s information notice includes:

  • The scope and purposes of the personal data processed in relation to the Event;
  • The legal basis for data processing, as well as the duration of personal data processing;
  • The scope of data processors;
  • Who at the Data Controller’s organization can access and view your personal data;
  • What rights the data subjects have.
