Apostolos Petropoulos

Apostolos Petropoulos is an energy sector professional with 10 years of experience specializing in electro-mobility and end-use applications. He is currently a member of the World Energy Outlook modelling team at the International Energy Agency (IEA), where he prepares medium- and long-term energy outlooks, particularly focusing on demand sectors and leading transport sector analysis. Apostolos has contributed to several key IEA reports, including the Global EV Outlook and World Energy Outlook, and recently co-led a special report on Batteries and Secure Energy Transitions. Previously, as a member of the PRIMES Modelling Team, he worked on various European Commission and country-specific projects in the transport sector and biofuels market. He holds both a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens.
