Balázs Szilágyi, senior public affairs manager of CATL, has long standing diplomatic and academic experience in international political and economic affairs. Formerly he served in various diplomatic positions. He was an economic diplomat in Prague, Deputy Head of the Hungarian Embassy in Belgrade, Consul General in Chongqing (China). He also worked at the Permanent Representation of Hungary to the European Union (in Brussels). He was the Head of Unit for Northern Europe and Director General of the Department for Central Europe of the Hungarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade. He was a research fellow of Institute for World Economics of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences and the Head of Unit for Central Europe at the Institute for Strategic Studies of the National University of Public Service.
