
Csaba began his career at MOL Group’s Danube Refinery in 2010 as a development engineer, later holding various production-related expert positions until 2016. In 2017, he joined MOL Group’s Downstream Business Development organization, where he contributed to the development of strategic projects.
From 2019, he led MOL Group’s strategic program aimed at shifting from fuel production to petrochemical products, contributing to the implementation of the MOL 2030 strategy.
Starting in 2020, he headed development organizations at both the Danube Refinery and group level, where he was responsible for developing MOL Group’s sustainable value chains, including green hydrogen, plastic recycling, and renewable fuels.
In his current role, he is responsible for developing MOL Group’s renewable energy portfolio and operating its existing assets. MOL Group is steadily expanding its renewable energy portfolio as part of its long-term sustainability strategy. The company already operates several solar power plants in Hungary and Croatia, with a combined capacity exceeding 100 MW, and is developing large-scale projects such as the 38 MW solar farm in Algyő and a 48 MW facility in Tiszaújváros. Through the acquisition of a majority stake in ALTEO, a Hungarian energy company with a diverse renewable portfolio, MOL has further strengthened its position in green power generation and trading
