Dávid Hegyesi graduated in 2016 as an economist from the Corvinus University of Budapest, after which he was responsible for developing sectoral strategies in the Ministry for National Economy. From 2017, he participated in implementing export development programs for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and preparing the National Export Strategy at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade. Subsequently, from 2018, as the Head of the Export Financing Department, he led the design and implementation of the Export Development Grant Program. Since 2022, he has been working as the Director of Supplier and Site Development at the Hungarian Investment Promotion Agency (HIPA). The directorate actively participates in every site selection process of investors associated with HIPA. The supplier development department's role is to ensure that companies considering Hungary or already established here have a broad understanding of domestic supplier capabilities and use them more extensively. To this end, his team organizes business events and supplier development training programs. The department facilitates around 200-300 inquiries annually, supporting the establishment of business connections and meetings with local companies.
