Dennis Haardt

Head of Sales Battery Recycling for North Central Europe & North America, BASF Battery Materials

Dennis Haardt is dedicated to establishing BASF’s Battery Recycling business, which
is an integral part of BASF Battery Materials, by collaborating with OEMs, cell
producers, black mass producers and collectors with a clear ambition to “close the
loop” across global value chains. Furthermore, Dennis serves as the BASF Project
Co-Lead for Catena-X, an alliance and data ecosystem focused on secure, crosscompany
data exchange in the automotive industry.
Dennis Haardt started his professional career at Medion AG and Neckermann.de
GmbH, before joining BASF in 2012 as Regional Category Buyer for Software. Over
his decade-long career with BASF, he has held various management positions in
procurement, project management and key account management in both Germany
and the U.S. He holds a Master Degree in Marketing & Sales from “FOM University
of Applied Sciences” and a Diploma in Business Administration from “accadis
University of Applied Sciences”.
