Mr. Balasa obtained a degree in electrical engineering from the Budapest University of Technology. He started his career as a project engineer, then as a salesperson gained professional experience in different business segments as well as countries and held senior management positions, including at Schneider Electric. In this context, he managed a local business operation as an expat. He changed his position in Vienna to the executive seat of Schindler Hungária Kft. in Hungary. Balasa Levente joined Siemens Zrt. in February 2020, where he has been appointed as a member of the Board of Directors in 2021, and from the same year he also manages the Smart Infrastructure division.
