Olaf Rogge currently serves as Business Development Manager Recycling at BASF Battery Materials, where he leads strategic initiatives to expand BASF’s battery recycling business across Europe. His work focuses on developing partnerships and market opportunities that support circular economy solutions in the battery value chain.
He holds an MSc in Construction Management and a Diploma in Civil Engineering, and brings over 25 years of international experience across Europe and Asia. At BASF, Olaf has held senior roles in energy storage, electronic materials strategy, and magnetocaloric technologies. Prior to joining BASF, he worked with Merck in Taiwan, Singapore, and Germany, where he specialized in global sourcing and business coordination for electronic chemicals in the Asian market.
